Synopsis
Set in modern-day Lagos, Someone Special in a romantic comedy-drama about Alex, a reckless, misogynistic playboy whose life is turned upside down when an 11-year-old girl, Precious, is left in his care. Initially rejecting fatherhood, Alex gradually bonds with Precious and begins falling for his neighbor, Uju. Just as he starts to embrace responsibility, he discovers the child isn’t really his—the DNA test and her kidnapping were staged by his loved ones to reform him. Feeling betrayed, Alex spirals until he realizes the importance of love and family. He forgives everyone, rekindles his relationship with Uju, legally adopts Precious, and proposes to Uju in a heartwarming finale.
